Nick Boyd

I run Sorry Records, a Brooklyn-based independent label focused on dance and electronic music. I started it in 2015, and it's been the center of most of what I do — A&R, releases, event production, artist relations, the whole thing. Releases have earned coverage from Pitchfork, Resident Advisor, The Fader, DJ Mag, Mixmag, NME, and more.

Outside the label, I do label services work for artists and labels I believe in: DJ servicing and radio plugging, press and social campaigns, and release coordination. I've worked with XL Recordings, PC Music, Beggars Group, and others. I've also written about music for Crack Magazine, The Fader, and Love Injection.

I DJ regularly around New York and beyond — long-running residencies on The Lot Radio and 8 Ball Radio, a monthly at Bossa Nova Civic Club, and sets at Nowadays, Good Room, Slingshot Festival, Social Studies, and more. Selected mixes here.
